The North Carolina State Men's basketball team left no doubt about it Sunday afternoon inside the Lenovo Center cruising to a 89-63 win, to finish off non-conference play.

A much needed, comfortable win for the Wolfpack who head into conference play needing to build it's identity, and more importantly, resume if it plans to avoid the pressure of a must win conference tournament for the big dance.

On Sunday the Wolfpack help extend a slim margin lead boosted by a 23-2 run late before intermission.

Wolfpack Wishlist heading into the New Year

In order for the Wolfpack to have hopes of making the big dance, the Wolfpack have to accumulate some quad 1 wins in a hurry. The ACC is having a down year with just one team ranked inside the AP Poll top 25 (Duke). In addition, no bad losses will help it's resume and most needed road wins, starting with a trip to Charlottesville on 12/31.
