Monday afternoon Duke officially announced redshirt sophmore Maalik Murphy to serve as QB1 ahead of Duke's opener .

Maalik Murphy who transfered into the program in January after playing for the Texas Longhorns for two seasons competed throughout Spring camp in a highly anticipated battle with Grayson Loftis who orchestrated the offense last season with former Blue Devil, Riley Leonard.
