Greensboro prospect out of Caldwell Academy, Cole Cloer seems to be the top target between North Carolina State and North Carolina in place of who will get the states 2026 top prospect to commit. NC State and Coach Kevin Keatts made the offer to the top prospect back in 2023 before Cole made the transfer to Greensboro, NC to play at Caldwell Academy.
Hubert Davis and company made an offer earlier this year, being the first from the class of 2026 to receive an official offer.
The rumor mill and insiders over at Rivals have stated UNC seems to be a favorite for the Caldwell Academy forward. No official visits have been scheduled as of yet, but Cloer has stated he will make visits to both campuses of NC State and North Carolina soon before making a decision.
Other ACC suitors that have been linked to Cole are Miami, Wake Forest, and Louisville.
Coach Keatts magical final four run in 2023 and gaining attraction from high level recruits is something to keep an eye on.
