Duke men's basketball welcomes former All-American point guard Bobby Hurley and the Arizona State Sun Devils inside Cameron Indoor for the inaugural Brotherhood Run exhibition game October 27th, 6:30pm. This being the first matchup between Jon Scheyer and Bobby Hurley from the sidelines.
The Hall of Famer helped Coach K and Duke capture back to back titles in 1991, and 1992 and has his jersey retired in the rafters inside Cameron Indoor stadium.
The revenue from the contest is designated to the Duke's children hospital.
Per Bobby Hurley and Duke athletics ,
"I'm grateful to Jon Scheyer and Duke Basketball for working with Arizona State Basketball to make this exhibition game a reality," said Hurley. "It will be special for me to return to Cameron Indoor. Our team is excited for the opportunity to compete against a storied basketball program prior to embarking on our regular season schedule. The collaboration between Duke and Arizona State to put together this charity exhibition game supporting Duke Children's Hospital is very meaningful to both programs"
Per NCAA rules teams are given the juncture to schedule Division 1 teams if all proceeds are designated for charitable contributions.
