Duke football overcame a 2 game skid against ranked opponents winning in Raleigh on Senior night 29-19 led by Maalik Murphy who recorded his first career rushing touchdown, which helped extend the Blue Devils lead in the second half.
Murphy on the evening finished with 2 touchdowns, 22-31 to 245 yards passing.
The Duke offense oddly enough were unable to convert a third down on the evening finishing 0-9.
Receivers Eli Pancol, Jordan Moore, Que-Sean Brown, and Sahmir Hagans helped orchestrate the air attack.
The Wolfpack on Senior night were looking to tally their 6th win to become bowl eligible. However, with two games on the season NC State will look to achieve such feat on the road at Georgia Tech ( who just defeated #4 ranked Miami) and in-state rival North Carolina.
