The 2024 NBA draft featured 4 draftees of the Atlantic Coast Conference Wednesday night, tied for most players being selected from a single conference. The NBA draft which is now 2-nights, will continue the 2nd round of it's coverage Thursday evening at 4pm.

Pittsburgh, Duke, Virginia, and Miami all represented the ACC with draft selectees.

Dating back to 2009, the conference has had multiple players drafted in every draft, making it the only conference to achieve such a feat.

Bub Carrington drafted by the Washington Wizards and sent (via trade) to the Portland Trailblazers, will pair along with last years lottery pick Scoot Henderson.

Jared McCain was selected 16th overall by the 76ers. His sharpshooting speciality will be an asset for All-Star Joel Embiid and star in the making floor general Tyrese Maxey.

Kyshawn George, freshman combo guard was drafted by the Washington Wizards (via trade New York Knicks). George gives the Wizards a threat on the perimeter, with a skillset of distributing the rock on the interior to the big man.

Concluding the first round, Virginia Cavalier Ryan Dunn was selected 28th overall by the Phoenix Suns (via trade Denver Nuggets).

Catch the second round of the NBA draft this evening with coverage starting at 4PM on ESPN.
